    No mods whatsoever!
Front wheel drive patrol cars do not last. If the new Caprice is RWD, Chevy and the Dodge Chargers will dominate the streets. Now the Carbon Motors, that's nice!

now I have to learn the headlight pattern of another vehicle. At least they didn't switch to a chrysler. There was one in Kannapolis. There's nothing worse than the feeling of getting pulled over by Grandma when it happens.

I had a 2000 Crown Vic Police Interceptor and it was an amazing vehicle. Pulled strong, cornered well for such a massive car, and stable at all speeds.

I also had a 1996 Taurus SHO. At 240hp that thing was a rocket that could corner like nobody's business.

I imagine this new police SHO is something worth experiencing.

the chargers are cool and all but i really like my vic...the chargers are a bit difficult to see out of when attempting to precision drive...so even tho vics are bigger...theyre easier to drive

as mjp said...they handle awesome...they dont get up and go like the charger...but they do get up and go

The Caprice is RWD for the person who asked that.

Will be interesting to see how this does. Be interesting having a twin turbo AWD patrol car. I questioned how it would hold up being a uni body a lot of the CVPI's strength came in that it was body on frame and could take any abuse. Ford said that this car will exceed the CVPI in every aspect as far as durablity, abuse it can take, collisions it can withstand, etc. I'm sure they did their homework since they've had the majority of the market for over a decade now since the last Caprice went bye bye.

Our police use Chargers, CVPI's, and Expeditions. All the new cars they get now are Chargers, think they're up to 6 now, all Hemi's. The most badass one is their unmarked unit that's all blacked out with black wheels and all. Looks mean.

That's pretty badass... we have at least 7 or 8 different model cars around here, some I believe were seized and refitted. Half of them are unmarked too...
