I found a Flying J in Piedmont, which isn't too far out of the way to Sunset. Probably going to hit it on the way Saturday.

Kinda reminds me of my female roommate back in the day. Cooking breakfast; scrambling eggs she comes over and looks at me then look at the scrambled eggs then ask "what are you making?"

 

I thought by the end of this story you were going to say “and she ended up naked making my breakfast”

I always love when there's a mangled car and people ask stupid stuff like "what happened? Someone have a wreck?"

Or we have a house on fire with the road blocked and people ask "something on fire up there?"

I mean really haha. Here's your sign.

 

I like to tell them "were investigating a shark attack. Id stay out of the area."

 

I've been really close to writing the emergency scene management ticket. It comes with a hefty fine as well. If I recall correctly it is $1,068. I was working at a fatality one morning with cars lined up for at least 3/4 a mile back. Some dude rolled past my car and kept going (fatal was still in the highway). I chased him down and he said "I gotta go home this way" I told him "not today. You do something like this again and you're going to jail so I'd turn around and haul ass if I were you"
