I'm game! Would be a big upgrade from the homemade plywood platform I'm currently sporting! Id use it for the same reason i built tge plywood one: EVERYTHING. Allows me to haul 4 x 8 sheets of drywall and plywood, organizes camping gear, secures items, you name it!

    Hey guys,

I just got my truck and I am beginning to equip it with mods. I really like the work you guys did on Daniel’s (Yogi) Tacoma.

I am a photographer, so I know I could use the drawers for transporting tripods, drones, lighting equipment, and still have room to move frames on top of the bed.

During winter I plan to use the drawers for my snowboarding gear, helmets, gloves, extra dry clothing. I could test this during all the elements. I pushed the limits of my Prius during Mammoth Mountian’s record breaking snow storm last year. I think I could pack a lot of my gear very efficiently with your DECKED system when it’s time to hit the slopes.

For shooting weapons, I’d like to keep my rifles, pistols, and shotguns dry inside the drawers system.

I will tune my truck accordingly to the seasons, and I have many extensive outdoor hobbies like: camping, hiking, paddleboarding at the beach with my dog, and other excursions.

I am an avid football fan, and I could store some food, gear, and supplies for tailgating during football Sundays, and take many pictures with fans across the city with your drawers system.

As far as what I can bring to the table — I can curate and edit photos to your liking for marketing purposes and I believe I can answer questions that clients would have about the DECKED system anytime needed.

I have experience with Lightroom, photoshop, and other photography/videography applications.

Future mods to be completed in the next 3 months:

    - Kings Coilovers with adjustable reservoirs
    - ICON Billet UCA + add a leaf
    - Volk Racing Wheels 16” TE37x
    - BFGoodrich KO2’s 285/75R/16 Tires
    - Leitner Designs Active Cargo system
    - C4 Fabricaton Lo-Pro winch

I believe I would be a great candidate with my ‘17 Cement Tacoma TRD Pro, your drawers would be amazing to add to the rig setup! Thanks your time.

    Cheers,
    Aaron from Los Angeles

Camping with exposed gear is not ideal especially when your going to new places with the kids and wife . I'm trying to build a modular all purpose truck . I think the design is perfect for my needs and doubles as a perfect setup for days out shooting . I would jump at the shot to review your product . I've been keeping an eye on when your slides where available . Last time I checked they were not available for the Tacoma yet . I'm also doing a cross country trek from Georgia to California and back in the next four months.

    Okay, here goes...

    First the picture....

Okay, there she is. This is my plain jane, white pickup. As you can see in the picture... minimal mods, (well a tonneau cover, so that's something right?) No LED upgrades, etc. She's as plain as they can come.

The dealer had this beast sitting on their lot at the end of the year, December 2016 and they almost paid me to take because they didn't have room on the lot for cars they actually could sell.
Story was one of their employees ordered it, and after they saw it, they didn't even want it.

It's a nice, dependable, truck of course, but I barely use it. I've had it for nearly a year now, and just barely crossed 4,000 miles on it. It's been a bear.

I try to use it for my trips to home depot. It's been handy for some things, but often times I pickup stuff and just end up throwing it in my backseat. I've had so many occurrences of throwing stuff in the bed, only for it to rumble around and bump into things as I drive around.

Since I don't have any plywood building skills, I haven't built myself anything to better compartmenalize (is that even a word) my stuff. Using the bed on this thing is such a hassle. If only I had purchased something with a trunk!

It's a short box, but the back has far too much wide open space under my tonneau cover. Fortunately, I'm just an IT guy who does almost nothing truck related.

I'm not a photographer. I do have a camera, with two tripods. It's a nice DSLR, but as you can see from my photo above, I barely know how to use it. I think the photo above was actually taken with my phone because I was pretty sure throwing my camera in the truck (backseat or in the bed?) would have just caused more issues crashing into a propane tank I needed to refill. My tripods have been hanging in my garage since I purchased them.

Oh, look... There they are! Right next to the weedeater, and the 4 foot section of old garden hose of course. Always right where I need them when I'm out and about picking up the kids from their soccer games.

As you can tell by the wheels and suspension in the picture below, I'm not an off-roader.
Can you imagine my confusion of trying to make that work?
The biggest extent of my offroading is from the picture you see above.
That right there is almost 2.5 inches of snow! Here in Minnesota, we get the stuff fairly often, and it was part of the reason for me to justify this purchase to my wife.

No, I didn't get a snow blade for the truck, I just tried to use faulty logic hoping my wife would buy it.
    (She didn't).
This truck has been a point of contention with her since I bought it, but again, it remains relatively useless since that was the last major snowfall we had last year. We've been able to get every where with the daily driver since the weather has been fine otherwise.

I thought maybe after a while, my wife's anger would subside. It seemed to during a 12-day period of silence. I believe she was just trying a new-fangled, meditation / yoga / paleo-whatever thing the ladies are all doing these days. I don't think it worked because after she started talking to me again, I mentioned that her 12 day silence diet thing made her butt look better, but she didn't seem to appreciate the compliment.

Eventually, after months of complaining from my (not super-hot) wife, I put it up for sale. I actually had someone interested in it too. It was then that she said making a second dumb decision doesn't correct a first impromptu, unauthorized, decision. She eventually cooled down (maybe it was that paleo meditation thing working when she'd sleep in the basement bedroom instead of our own), before my wife backed off and decided I could keep it (despite the vast, open, useless, space behind the cab).

I think the biggest reason she backed off, was after I purchased a brand spankin' new SUV for her. After 13 years of driving the same old minivan and me driving a new truck, she "suggested" it was time for her to get an upgrade from the puked on, cloth-upholstered, minivan.

Since then, we've had a few soccer chairs, umbrellas, and jumper cables which no longer fit in her vehicle because of the lesser storage of the SUV compared to the minivan.

Thankfully, I have a backseat I can use for that kind of stuff. As long as I don't have to pickup the kids. I think this is safe, right? Fits right behind the bug sprayer.

Here's some of the stuff that didn't fit in the SUV, that still needs a place to go.
Not sure why my wife puts it right by my truck. It's hardly a good storage spot, but understanding her can be difficult at times.

In my spare time, I try to rehab houses.... or should I say house.
I'm not the best rehabber in the world. I have tools, but with my job interfering, and my kids soccer, and my general laziness, and my lack of work ethic, I usually spend most of my time trying to find misplaced tools.

I never know if I have them in my garage, in my truck's back seat, or at the house that I've been trying to rehab for what seems like 5 years. (actually, it's only been since December of 2014, so I'm exaggerating).

I'm getting long winded, so to wrap this up with a bow, I wish I had something really good to share.
If my wife was really hot, I'd follow up with a picture of her to draw attention to my post... so....

Or if my kids were really good at sports, I could show off a trophy they had won.. if.... well...

Anyway, back to looking for my lost drill I purchased a couple years ago.
If only I had a good place to store it, I'd probably better recall where I left it when I bounce from work to house, to my brother-in-laws house, trying to do repairs. But unfortunately I'm not sure such a solution exists.

I hope I didn't leave it in the minivan.

If you make a surfboard deck system I'll give it a go. That's what I have in the bed 90% the time. A couple surfboards, wetsuits, fins, etc.

I'd like the opportunity to test this system for you guys! My truck is a daily driver down here in AZ. So if you need hot weather testing to see if plastic melts I've got you covered! Like others have posted I am looking for a clean efficient way to carry all of my gear. Shooting, fishing, camping gear all require organization and it seems like your set up would be the solution. I've got my wife and kid and not too surprising they pack a TON of stuff when we go camping. This would help the disaster of finding stuff in the bed of the truck.
And to be real for a minute I can take pictures of groceries in these drawers. Yeah I know, that's the most exciting thing you've read so far. I'm tired of cans and broccoli rolling around in the bed after a trip to the store.

I'm headed to Moab shortly and can get some cool pics of your gear with some killer scenery.
Thanks for the chance at this, it's a really cool idea! [IMG]

    Hi guys ,

I would mainly use it for camping or wheeling and gun range days. This would be awesome to use at BLM land
