The sound difference is amazing. It sounds nothing like OEM not even close. I honestly think the sound proofing material is part of it as well.

I forgot to mention if you can't afford the speaker upgrade. I HIGHLY recommend getting the Subaru Tweeter set everyone is getting. That's the first thing I did a couple months ago and it was only $80 I think off Ebay. The difference just changes the two small tweeters is great as well.

I ordered the tweeters today and can’t wait. For me it is not the money as much as not wanting to throw money away. I love my Taco BUT my howling rear diff has to get fixed before I spend another penny on it. But, after turning up my radio yesterday I had to do something so I figured this was a good start. I appreciate all the guidance for sure.

And make sure the door latch and lock cables are connected correctly before you close the door. If the lock cable is not connected correctly the door will lock when it's closed, and you won't be able to open it from the outside door handle. Even if you try to unlock the door with the FOB or the controls on the drivers door. You have to rip the panel off from the top from the inside, while the door is closed and connect it to the latch.
Voice of experience. Fortunately I did not do any damage.

Such a good change. These tires are so much better than the KO2s. Bigger, but quieter and find myself cruising at lower RPMs. Impressed by the tread depth too.

You shouldn't go this size if you don't want to lift. 265/75/17 max without lift IMO. Yes they are rubbing a lot right now, but I've got a cab mount chop scheduled that should help with most of it.

It doesn't look too much pushed outside considering your 285 tires. I got 18x9 -12 and paired with 275/65/18 and will look a lot more on the outside of the fender.
