Tonight sucks. I'm trying to embrace it.

 

I gave up on the internet and just decided to read a book.

 

Since 7, I've transferred one to another hospital. One to ICU, and had 4 admits.

 

Well, ya always have us. We try to not suck TOO badly.

 

Sheesh - looks like EVERYONE's busy tonight.

Including me I s'pose, nothing too nuts but it's been steady.

 

Night 4 here, shutting down production to perform down day work tomorrow. Makes for a long night.

 

In the middle of a shutdown presently. Playing "Whack a Mole" with equipment that needs to stay running but has no feedback to the control room.

Makes you think how smart the old timers were to run this stuff with no computers.

 

It's rough when it's slow.

Fortunately for me I had a bunch of new systems to image and configure. It's not difficult work, but it is pretty involved so it's good for passing the time and being productive.

finally cleared to return to regular duty. well see how fast my knee explodes.

 

Talk about slow, I'm sitting here catching up on Ballers and Ray Donovan.

 

I got through all 13 (?) episodes of "Black Mirror" last week. Damn, that's a fantastic series!

I'm thinking of doing a Hulu preview so I can catch all the "Rick and Morty" episodes I missed earlier on. You can watch all of seasons 1 and 2 there.

 

Im just watching anime and killing time over here for the slowness for us.

 

Ballers is a good show, also a fan of Black mirror. Currently making m way through Narcos, on season 3 now.

 

I watched Hacksaw Ridge on last nights shift. Trying to find something else to pass the last couple hours

 

The Black Mirror episode, "San Junipero" pulled a VERY well deserved Emmy. I had a hard time getting into that one initially, I actually started falling asleep about halfway through it the first time. I heard it was good, so I watched the whole thing again - wow! WELL worth the effort, that's for sure.

"Preacher" is available on Hulu as well, I think that might be next.
