    Gosh, I hate to do this to you guys without really adding anything to this thread yet....

    I'm too new to post WTB classifieds...

    I am looking for the 17" steel wheels that are so popular on here and so hard to find

    Dealer and online parts catalog come up with part numbers using 2nd gen VIN for brand new rim that is not a 16 whole but a 4 whole weird square alien wheel.... I know they sell these steelies on ebay refurb'd but meghhhh rather go through TW or friend of friend and get (4) patiently.

    The ones you're looking for are FJ steelies because they're 17" - Tacoma's had 16"s - but they have the same hub dimensions so no problem. Why not buy them off of ebay? You might not find them any time soon if you look for a used set, but no worries if you're good with waiting!

    I am looking to do a bunch of stuff to my truck, starting off with wheel swaps from these fancy TRD Sport rims to the spare tire stock steel all black (dirtier the better) rims. Going to swap as much as I can to look utilitarian/storm troop.

    Ok, that is a really great place to start as I have heard one person mention FJ's. I am curious as to how the spare tire on 2nd gen TRD Sport is a matching 17" or is it 16" and that's why the catalogs all suck by offering 16". Thought it was going to be easier, thanks for your help and yeah prefer to wait until I get too impatient and then ebay fs.

    Best advice was above, buy them from ebay they don't come up often, @dtaco06 has a set on his 4 runner.

    Sandblasted and powder coated.
    Bedliner rolled on inside.
    Fenders powder coated textured black.
    Custom built lit to hold 800+ lbs.
    4man Smittybilt XL tent.
    New struts installed.
    Lock N Roll hitch welded on.
    Rotopax installed and included on the sale.
    Original ww2 lighting gutted out and LEDs installed.
    Powder coated Toyota rims and BF ATs installed. I still have the original rims.

    Original pintal hitch etc included in the sale.

    The tub does have a few minor holes in it...and one decent size crack.(does. It effect functionality at all)
