is all the wiring factory? or did you splice... just looks like the main plug is missing....
so this only adjust's the mapping for when your in S mode correct? you'll see no difference when in D

 

Yep only works in S mode. And works well it does. I used mine for awhile and really thought" this is ok". Then I drove in D again..... What a difference ! This is not just ok, this is great !!

 

Does look like the large plug to computer is missing .

 

Unit is not spliced. Large plug is under the unit . Instruction sheet will be sent with unit. Also many threads on this site to show installation , use, and how it works.

No, I don't believe so . Not have heard about that feature. Its basically a plug & play item used in S mode.

 

Thanks. Yeah, it’s on the new version 2. It’s got 3 user selectable mappings, basically a less aggressive (lower rpms), the current one, and a more aggressive one (maybe for towing?). Looks like it’s an add-on chip available for $12 for the V1.

 

Not really of interest to me......I sold my Tacoma.

The only thing I can say is that I was TOTALLY pleased with the SSP. Just too bad the rest of the truck was not as pleasing !

So the SSP is still on the market for the guys that don't want to spend $700 plus for the OV tune.
