i was just driving down 71 today and was passed by a couple squids on their gsxr's. they had to have been doing at least 100, people are starting to get off work so there were a few cars out there. I was doing the same as everyone else... 75-80 when they passed. few minutes later, they are pulled over with 3 cops behind the bikes and another car behind them. the 3rd bike was on its side off the side of the highway. im guessing either the car didnt see them coming or the d-bag just lost control and crashed. either way, this shit should be left at the track. i just shook my head as i saw the other riders in the back of the police cars. i just dont get it..... why is it "fun" to pull those stunts on a congested highway at triple digits!?!?!

i was at bike night last night, the place is next to a highway and some dumb fuck gets on there and shows off, pulls a wheelie all the past the place. ok... so you can do a wheelie.... cool, hope you dont kill someone while your in the process of doing that.... dumbass

im just ranting.... my point is, keep that retarded shit off the roads. that kind of crap is what gives all of us bikers a negative rep. when we are out riding. i understand its the start of the riding season and everyone is loving the weather... but theres no excuse for stunting on the public roads. i can see if you are the only one on a road for miles... sure... but not around people, cars, etc. thats just got stupid written all over it. I sure as hell dont want to see them splatter their brains all over the road. dont think anyone else would either.

    rant over.

Riding like an ass hat in traffic is stupid for sure.... but triple digits on the road with no traffic is fun once in a while.... but it's still not the safest place to be doing it.

Agreed though on taking it to the track.

I saw a biker do a wheelie on a freeway overpass once… I have to admit it looked badassssss. Imagine it, doing a wheelie at 80mph and turning left on a freeway overpass.

Spring time always brings out the fair weather bikers. I used to hate riding in the spring, because thats when the guys who like to ride fast in straight lines come out. When it gets hot in the summer they are back in their lancers ricing it up.

ok yeh. it takes skills to do that... but it isnt even worth killing yourself or another person just to get the cool card... to me... you just get my middle finger flying high in the air.

yeh bunch of vaginas.... they get their balls clanging when its good riding weather... then return to 5 years old again and sit in their civics with the ac cranked up... and the annoying boom boom boom

Glad to hear the selfish bikers were busted. Let us hope that the judicial system makes an example out of them. There is nothing funny about putting innocent lives at risk, especially for self-centered reckless behavior like speeding.

I got passed one time by a biker doing a wheelie at a good 100mph. My friends brother was killed back in the fall he was speeding and doing a wheelie and lost control and hit a car. I don't have the balls to ride a bike like that.

Yea, it's sad that when you hear how it happened and you don't find it surprising at all and figured it was inevitable knowing how the person drives.

Ass hats on motorcycles=job security for us firefighters and emts. I just bought my first harley and there is nothing better than cruising, maybe a little crack on the throttle every now and the(vance and hines pipes sound good screamin), but d-bags standing their bikes up in triple digits are asking for pain. Lots of it.
