I want to get one for a carry! The aluminum frame should help cut down on weight, dont really need the crimson trace grips though..

 

No doubt lasers are lame. I carry a sig p938 when i wear light clothing, 8+1 9mm. Its a bit heavier than a polymer of the same size but its not a problem to carry at all.

My lightweight 4 inch .45 can feel heavy at times, i carried a full steel 5 incher for one day and wont be doing that again.

 

I know but if I don't have a gun I want to carry I'd rather wait until I'm ready to use the license I'm paying for. With the castle law I can still have it in my truck if I desire.

 

My apartment is under 2" of water because my asshole upstairs neighbor won't stop stuffing paper towels down the toilet.

Make sure it has a titanium or steel insert on the ramp. I wouldnt trust an aluminum ramp on 1911s, seen the frames eventually wear or crack.
