    I've been really tempted...

I'm actually planning on putting tanabe NF210 lowering springs on it come summer.

but I worry if i get into it... I'll never get around to getting my tacoma!

but, fun story... I loaned the xB to my mother so she could take her friends out in a car that has a working heater... and she said to me...

"Your car has big fuckin' blind spots..."
    I said
    "yes, yes it does."

seriously though... I saw a white, base DC SB with an ARB, 3 inch lift and black rims with mudders on it today...

and I was like "god damn it thats my dream truck!"

so now I'm all EMO over not affording a tacoma again...

    o_O

    I'm not asking you...

I asked you MANY MONTHS ago.

and due to finances had to go with the xB.

Finances are still keeping me from my truck...

but once they don't. I'm in.

I voted Tacoma, but it depends on what you are looking for. Gas mileage or whatever your reasons may be just remember you wont have it forever and you can get good coin from a used taco... the Scion not so much.
Sure the Scion has a 4cyl and is suppose to get good gas mileage but put four people in it and gear and it may make it up the hill but it wont be fast or that efficient.

*Sorry for your choice, Im sure you made the best decision you could, but it still wasnt a taco!

I bought the scion... LIKE 5 MONTHS AGO.

it hauls with just me and gear in it.

and scoots quite nicely packed with people.

for a 4-banger 2 wheel drive Econo-car. its been pretty great.

    and the stereo is SICK.

THAT BEING SAID. I still want my 4x4. I miss my old 4x4's

this Xb is the first thing I've owned that wasnt a body on frame SUV with at least one locker (my jeep had 2)

so, when money allows. I will either buy a Tacoma, a Frontier or a Wrangler...

if by that time the wrangler gets a motor that doesn't suck.

I could never take a guy seriously if he drives an xB. If I got one for free, I'd put super dark tint so I wouldn't be so embarrased-

Get an Xb if you want to embarrass yourself whenever you drive, because you drive a toaster.

yeah, the 05-07's are the toasters with a bad ride, tiny engine, cheap tranny and crappy stereo.

the 08-forwards are more like bathtubs/fridges. they have the same engine 2.4 in quite a few 4-cylinder Tacoma's, but with fresh technology and in a much lighter vehicle. a nice transmission and an amazing stereo

I'm not embarrassed driving it. because my truck is not my penis.

thats Kind of Irrelevant. you must not have read anything I said. If I could afford the Tacoma, I'd drive the Tacoma. I'm driving the xB because I got like... 2,000 below Auction on it. and my jeep was not going to Pass inspection last year.

I liked the car, it was the right price and I had 30 days before my Wrangler would never again be street legal.

I made the Grown up choice, bought a great car. and when I have the money. I'm buying a taco...

I've already said that like 3 or 4 times in this thread.

had you read this thread, you would have known that.
