Not sure I like Weathertechs

I just installed brand new black weathertechs in my 2010 Double cab and I'm not sure I like them. They fit great, but they almost make the truck feel like it has a rubber rug instead of carpet. Reminds me of a basic contractor type model truck. I might sell them, I dunno.

lol you should have though about that before dropping $150 on floor mats! They're rubber for a reason- easy cleaning, containing debris, etc..

For floor mats . I wouldn't pay that much...they make my truck look like a stripped down base model work truck

My wife made a large batch of sauted mushrooms for a party we were going to. She set the dish of them on the floor (Weathertechs) while we drove to her sister's house. The butter/liquid in the dish spilled all over the liner. She apologized profusely but it was nice to look at her and say, "Eh, no big deal". Wiped right up. Only side effect was my truck smelled like buttery goodness for a day or two.

 

I was being serious. No shit they are rubber.

 

I assumed you where BSing because everyone loves there weather techs, they offer great protection

I thought I'd like 'em also, but I am just not sure about it. I am contiplating on putting my regular carpet mats back in to be honest. No doubt they do offer excellent protection though, for sure.

And thanks for the shit comments, it is what will drive me AWAY from this forum soon. Some of you need to get a friggin life. If you don't have anything positive too add, dont say a damn word.

 

you dislike these for the exact reason they were made. they are plastic liners for your floor of your truck that protect the entire foot section and carpet.

 

I wish my truck had vinyl floors. My past 2 vehicles did and it was so much better than the carpet in every way.
