Nice! Ingenuity at its best! How big was the drill bit you used?

Just got back from a trip through some Colorado mountain passes. Went up to 13,114 ft and back down and never had any problems from my mounts! Hi-Lift secured, didnt rattle, and made it home! I think they stood the test!

Hey there, I am interested in a set of mounts for my hi lift

however I am looking to mount it higher than how you are currently designing them as I would still like to keep my bed platform...

is this something you would b interested in whipping up??

another member recently did this with some mounts I believe he put together from a hardware store and I would like to do the same.

here are pics he shared in another thread for your reference... stolen from member @Greg617 thanks!

I have the 6ft bed. It would be a tight fit to put a 60'' Hi-Lift in the 5ft (60'') bed. You'd probably have to take off the base plate or something.

You would be the 2nd person that has asked me for something like this. I can defiantly make something that will work, just not sure how much of a demand it will have. It would be made in the style of my universal mounts, just the top of them would stick out above the rail.

@Greg617 how high above the bed rails is the hole you drilled for the hi-lift to mount?

Also working on finishing up a rotopax mount for our trucks also, so stick around for that also.

being more specific, I do not exactly need it up as high as greg has his... but enough that it clears the platform

How much room do you have between the top of you platform and the bottom of your bed rails?
