For Hidden Falls in October, What does our headcount look like? who is seriously interested? Been talking to some of the guys from down south and they have an area reserved but it is primitive camping only, it's a drive from bathrooms and showers etc. That being said, those of you that plan to go, are you good with that? I know myself and one other truck from up here plan to stay on their site. Just trying to see who is interested and get a head count for them as space is semi limited. Oh and no assholes allowed that will embarrass our group! ahaha

 

I will be going. I won't leave DFW until Saturday morning though. @Tundra2Play is pretty sure he'll go too. I'm planning to camp Saturday night and head back around noon or so Sunday. Primitive camping is fine with me and I'm ok if I don't stay at the group site.
@Silverspool and @reasonselzzz had both expressed interest in going too.

 

I'm interested in going. I can camp anywhere, I'll have anything I need with me. I may try and caravan down with @Suprajim54 and others or meet everyone there. I can def head down sat-sun but possibly fri-sun.

 

@dwaltdtx weren't you maybe going to head down to Hidden Falls too?

 

I'm going to try and get my truck buttoned up this weekend so I am still undecided. I'm more than likely out since I need to be back for the Cowboys game Sunday at noon. But I would sure like to check it out so if I go I will head down Friday night and stay in Austin and just wheel Saturday.

 

okay you guys just keep me updated, I am going to go down Friday. I think @Zac of all trades plans to go to. Sounds like 5-7 trucks maybe. If we don't fit in the reserved spot we will figure that part out later. I will have the RTT so I am always down for primitive. Will PM you guys as it gets closer.

 

Keep in mind ACL opens that weekend so finding a cheap room near Austin may be difficult.

Im down for Hidden Falls as long as its a Sat/Sunday situation, wont be able to head out on Friday

 

We can meet in Hillsboro since I'll be coming down 35E and you'd probably use 35W. HF is about 2.5 hours from there. Got some time to think about it but maybe meet in Hillsboro around 7:30 or 8am Saturday?

 

How about West? Its just a little further south and ill be happy to stuff my face with kolaches while i wait for others to show up

 

Yeah i am going. I need to look at their campsites and figure something out though. I will probably head down there on friday, depending on if i work that day will determine when i drive down.
