Just the other day I was trying to convince the "Minister of Finance" we need to lift the truck. I traded in a heavily moded Jeep and she sees where this is going........ However, at the moment and we know how things change I just want to lift it with different tires and wheels. Well guess what happened today.............

My wife drove the tacoma to work, this is the first time she has driven it. She just got home and said you need a lift on that truck. Her truck is an F250 diesel 4x4 and she felt like she was driving a car she said........

I have been researching and here we go! I am going to go with Kings, upper control arms, and new leaf pack. Also I think I should do bushing change as well...........anything else please let me know.

Tire size I am unsure, I do not want to chop and cut but I want to get a nice wheel and tire package. Looking at going with BFG 255 85 16. I am moving to California in about 45 days so I think I will wait till I get there to find a good shop to install.

I was hoping for responses like yours....... :cheers:I will be in Victorville. About 80 miles from LA and about 2 hours from San Diego. I have done several moded vehicles and I am in the mindset to do it right the first time. Would love to find an awesome shop to do the install and alignment.

Truck looks awesome. What size tires? I was thinking to change out whole leaf pack. I have a RTT that will be on the bed with my fridge and camping gear...........

Right now I am in West Texas, we can't wait to get out of here and into California. This will be our second time living in CA, so familiar with the downside..........

I have lived in a lot of areas and this is one of the worst. It is a small town, crime, drugs, gangs.........the list goes on. Stationed here 12 months and time to go.

As far as tires go 285's are the way to go. Trimming will vary depending on your personal driving needs but even if you do end up trimming its not much and well worth the beautiful stance. I'd recommend you check any of the wheel and tire threads and you'll see tons of tacos running 285's and they all look great
