    Hope this is the right forum. Has anyone removed the chrome left and right front bumper guards on the 1st Gen? Can it be done with the bumper cover in place or does the whole thing have to be removed first? I'm either replacing or repairing them and just wonder what I'm getting into. Thanks

    You're talking about the 98-00 4wd/prerunner bumper? You have to remove the whole bumper to get those off from the back.
