    The rope is for recovery so he can pull up next to stuck person they can retrieve an attach so they don't have to get out. That's what we did when I was in the service.

    image.jpg I know I'm not supposed to spot myself but this is my truck at the civic center in Port Arthur during the storm. I was the only person that saved their vehicle from being flooded, came damn close though.

    I started off in a high spot in the parking lot and noticed the water coming up, I then moved to the sidewalk, the water was still coming up, I ended up moving to the entrance of the civic center and that was as high as I could go. This was the parking lot.

    image.jpg This was inside the center where we had over 600 people. That was the absolute worst time of my life. We were awake over 36 hours moving people and no sleep or food but plenty of rain.

    When they evacuated the Civic Center, they moved everyone to the airport. We were volunteering there and it was amazing the amount of support that our area received :thumbsup:
