What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

When you try and use the switch is the actuator getting power? Does the passenger side work ok?

 

It is nice but man thats a lot of work for a sunroof

If I buy a all pro tube bumper will the led light tabs that trail gear sells still work? If so, do I need to buy a some form of a resister to help with fast blinking?

Maybe cousin shot a cow elk up on a sage brush hill. There was a rode up about 50 yards from her but it hadn't been driven on in who knows how long.

You can bet the Tacoma got volunteered to drive up the rode and back down to the elk, not even by me.

You said it. I'm almost doing that right now minus the dash stuff - new doors, interior, engine, trans, driveshaft, rear axle lol.

 

I added a little frame with tabs to hold a tool/supply box. Strait 1.5" x 0.095" tube across and a little 1"x 0.120" bent tube and braces, migged it all in. Quick rattle can paint job afterwards.

 

Did you weld that tube 360 around where it comes down to the frame in the front? I'm guessing you did, but it's hard to tell by the pic. Looks like a great way to mount a tool box!

 

Yes, it was a Pita and a little snotty. I used a old welding #10 lens as a mirror and wrapped weld around all the tubing. @Dalandser

 

Not what I did today but over the course of a week I hastily wrapped up bits and pieces of my truck and then proceeded to flog it for a week in Montana and Wyoming. I'm sure other members I was with will want to write out what we saw and did. So I'll just say somehow my truck that was put together and only partially checked did great and held together through the wheeling and the RTT that I bought in the dark the night before the trip gave me zero issues. Uhhh, well the drivetrain is somewhere around 220k to 260k and the body and frame are 290k to 320k. Haha, plus I just drove it another couple thousand. I don't really track mileage, speedo is way off and I've rebuilt the thing into some half and half monster so I doubt I'd ever sell it.

I have the Addicted tube bumper with the LED turn signals, and this works like a charm. The relay is right behind the knee panel in the fuse block. Super easy.
