How long did the swap/transplant take?

 

Took danny about 4 hours I think. Wasn't supposed to pick up till today, but he called David about 9:30 and said he was done. So we went and picked up.
@DOUBLLD I forwarded you the PM I got from @loginfailed , seems to take about half hour to make the ecu and immobilizer play nice together. If you are able to help me get that done, I'd appreciate it let me know when you have time.

to be able to knock out two trucks in that time, and that amount of work, its like he is a machine.

would y'all go with the blizzaks, or I found a tire called the nokian hakkapeliitta, which has amazing reviews. Prices are almost the same on DTD. The nokians have a 100 MIR, while the blizzaks have a 75 off instant.

 

I have heard good things about these. But blizzaks get my vote

 

I think you are right. Blizzaks seem to be the industry standard when it comes to winter tires. But a finnish company that specializes in winter driving has my attention. I'll do a little more digging on the two after I get back from Dannys. I got instructions for the ecu swap. Apparently two pins have to be jumped, and half hour later the ecu and immobilizer play nice again.

He just left dannys with a shiny new cmc. Im getting my ecu swapped now so my truck will run above 300 rpms at idle

 

I tried to post a vid of the lights flashing in the dash, it looks like a christmas tree. Apparently its over 20MB or i have bad signal

Yeah about as stock as its gonna get. Tires and wheels get swapped out in a couple days

Yep runs great. No more supercharger whine though
First time we waited 20 min. Apparently any thing under 30 min isnt enough. Big thanks to @loginfailed for saving me the headache of going go toyot to have it paired up.
