Both eventually but this is for the Tacoma. I'll keep you in mind, another has expressed interest a long time ago so I need to ask him first

I wanted to see if you all had any idea how much 2017 TRD Off Road Wheels and Tires are selling for these days, and if anyone in the area would be interested. Thanks

I sold my wheels to an FJ owner who wanted some winter wheels for $400. Rims only. Took me awhile though. Not too many people are willing to pay for OEM takeoffs

I'd give $75-$100 for a single wheel for a spare.

Hey all. Is there anywhere locally that is able to get OME lift kits or will I need to order it and have it shipped? Looks like the closest ARB dealer is in Pekin. Thanks!

Now the task of emptying out the LandCruiser and pressure washing the mud off of it. Little by little I'm going to end up with all of Windrock in my driveway. The 77 did awesome with the new gears and I only forgot one important tool. The tire bleeder/filler for my CO2 tank. Local Auto Zone had enough parts on their shelf to help me cobble something together to get the tire pressure above 8psi for the interstate.

OK...so you guys are much more knowledgeable than I am about our Tacomas. I did some research a while ago about a suspension lift kit and decided at that time to get the complete OME lift kit with the 885 springs in the front and the Dakar Leafs in the rear since I don't currently have aftermarket bumpers. On OME's website they estimate a 1.96" lift in the front and 2.16" in the rear. A bit of rake but nothing too drastic and 2ish inches is what I was thinking as far as a lift goes.

I called Chi Town 4X4 yesterday and they are recommending the OMEs or Bilstein 6112s in the front with blocks in the rear. He is recommending the blocks because in his experience, the Dakars are harsh and the rake is a bit more than what OME shows on their site. Sooo...what is a guy to do?

Will I be unhappy with the full OME kit? Would I be better severed getting a different Kit, ICON Stage 2 with the UCAs for example? I'm not planning to go cheap but I don't want to break the bank either. I'm just looking for a modest lift, nothing extreme. Before I start doing more research, what are your thoughts?

    Thanks!!

I have Bilstein 6112 shocks up front, Bilstein 5160 shocks in the rear with OME leaf spring. Very pleased with it. I'm not a huge fan of the OME shocks but I know they work well for a lot of people. I just liked the specs on the Bilsteins better. Plus they're adjustable. Don't do blocks or spacers. If your spending the money you should do it right the first time.

I've got the Icon Stage 2 with a AAL and TC UCA's. Great, no complaints, awesome ride and alignment results. I've been on these shocks for 8k miles definitely will rebuild them when it comes time. I'd look into Fox too. They make a good product as well if you don't want to go all out.

I've got about 2.5 at first it settled to 2. But I'm about to crank up my coilovers when I put on my new tires hopefully soon....
