@ahspurlock just a quick question for you, 2005 4runner for sale near me. It is a Sport with 130,000 miles on it. It looks to be pretty nice and in pics it has a baby seat so hoping it is a mom's DD. My only concern is it has a 8 cyl, timing belt and waterpump was done at 100,000 miles. I wanted a 4.0 but price on this is real good. How is the 8cyl and any idea on MPG ? Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Yea the 8cyl are nice Motors and if the timing belt and water pump was done at 100,000 your good till 200,000 for next service .as far as MPG there pretty good sense they are light the weight vehicles so you should be around what most TACOMA'S are when semi stock

Just what I needed to know. Will get a mild lift and some tires and wheels and be used for mild offloading with you guys. If I end up with it I will have you do the lift when I get down there. Once again thanks for your help.

Windows were tinted. Probably wasn't him, it didn't look as lifted. But it kinda looked like his odd light setup up front.
Who else drives a lifted 2nd, gen, white in this area besides Bob?

    8cyl, V8 swap? Hmm, I'd be suspect.

I don't think so, I might be wrong but I thought Toyota offered the 8 in the 4Runner. I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time for that !!!!:frusty:

    Kinda sad that's it's only 120hp more than the 3rzfe 4 cylinder.
