All done! I'll bring it inside in an hour, where it will sit until next Thursday. It's not perfect, but I wasn't going for that which is why no wet sanding was involved. It's still way better than before!

Thinking about selling my bike to get a start putting money together to build a retro rod.

 

you can still wet sand it. I think its as easy as dipping sandpaper in water.
I would like to see what the edges look like after the tape is removed.

 

what bike? bicycle? what rod?

 

I know I COULD but I don't want to. I even have 1000 grit sandpaper on hand. You'll have to wait on the tape though, and that won't get removed till tomorrow.

I have an 06 Z1000, want to get a 3rd gen Camaro like I had as a kid. Build a modern LSX for it.

 

I'll take the tape and paper off tomorrow, but it's not going back on the truck until Thursday. I'm going to paint the toyota symbol white, and want that ready by Thursday too, so I'll paint that tomorrow.

One of my best friends from high school had a blue v6 IROC, and swapped in a 350, painted Lamborghini Orange, custom cowl hood, roll cage, subs, NOS, everything.. (and I only have 1 picture of it)
