Yeah now I'm lost. You're tired of crime, drugs, and gangs... and want to go BACK to CA?

Or is it the small town part that is bothering you? lol

There are numerous issues here........I can deal with small towns, nice break after living in big cities however, this place is unique. As well as work.

I find it unlikely that you will find better prices, availability or selection of parts in CA vs TX.

I would shell out for lift, tires and regear before leaving.. then capitalize on pelfreybilt when you get there.

On second thought.. your going to CA...

Your gona end up with long travel so you might as well just start there.

I'm running 275s. They can on a sharp turn, big bump still rub slightly. Personally I wouldn't go bigger (but people do). I had 285s on my Gen II and the rub gets annoying. You might investigate an AAL as I had this same one on my Gen II with shell, futon etc. lift worked out well. Over springing the rear end is painful. Ask anyone that's done it.

All this is obviously just my opinion.

It is not I need her permission, however being married for over 17 years, It is a good idea to discuss spending over $4000. This wife I actually like, unlike the first................

I am 4 hours west of Dallas and there are not shops that do installs or anything out here. The closest is Dallas/ Fort Worth. I was thinking the same thing about getting it done here, however I was looking at having Demello do the install. I want professionals that know what they are doing and to get it done right. I did all the work on my Jeep except alignment. Solid axle is much different in my opinion. A lot of different parts on a Toyota IFS.

My family is from California, recently moved to Nevada. Ended up having my truck lifted by a reputable shop out in Nevada. However, was looking up shops in California to install my lift and came across YotaMasters in Corona. Google them they have good reviews, no prices though. Looks like they do hell of a lot more than just lifts as well.

255s FTW! You'll really like that set up. If you leave them on stock wheels, you won't rub at all.
