Agreed, I want to see how the new truck does in the snow. Still waiting on sliders and winch bumper though...:(

What a trip! I love this state. Sorry to you true Montanans. After the military I may be moving back.

Sounds like a good plan to me! Maybe one day it will work out. Hunting season has got me pretty preoccupied but after that is over it should work. I'm always out around that area hunting anyways and I recognized some of those pics from the little belts. I'm a big chicken by myself, but with a few other vehicles and the ability to recover I'd be a little more daring. Not sure if you've been up to Yogo Peak, but the road/trail up there is pretty cool with a great view.

I took him up there and to monument peak the one day we went out via Stockett/logging creek/divide rd then deadmans grave rd. at the base of showdown hill.. My next plan is from Monarch to Utica via Hughsville.

That is also a beautiful drive. I really like getting up high, during good weather of course. The decent on some of the trail if there were snow or ice has me a bit leery especially since I can't chain up the front to control the front end.

I've only lived in Montana since June and literally any beer from here is good. Most gas stations sell local beer here

Nothing is near Ennis...but Ruby Valley Brew in Sheridan is pretty sweet. Super small but a great selection of small batch craft beers. You'll never need another Alaskan Amber!

I'm gonna third this statement, as I try to resist going to the store and buying some for myself tonight.
