I think they did change the Oktoberfest location from last year (Bear Mountain State Park/Bear Mountain Inn area) to the Anthony Wayne Rec area, just off exit 17 on the Palisades Parkway.

I'll try to make it by 11 am this Sunday at the Anthony Wayne parking lot to meet some of you guys and check out all the rigs

I may be solo as well, waiting to hear back from a friend. People don't like to be associated with people who buy Inferno Tacos lol.

So the consensus is we're going directly to Anthony Wayne?

I finally reread the first post, which mentions an address to a gas station in Peekskill .

Not sure about that, I just got confused a bit and I was thinking about what was happening 2 years ago and stuff... :anonymous:

So, :boink: @crazychris4124, since the weekend is already here... Are we sticking to original plan and meeting up at that gas station? and then Tacoma convoy to Octoberfest? Or, what's the plan?

It's up to you guys. You wanna meet at the gas station that has a dunkin donuts then convoy it to the festival or just meet at the festival??? I'm fine with both options, I have to drive past the gas station anyway.

if we all get to the festival at different times we may not get parking next to each other

I'm bringing a bud, but I have to pick him up in the city at 7 so I'll be up there super early

    Good point about parking.
I like a convoy idea as well.

1st meet up is at the lot next to the gas station, address is 98 Hook Rd, Peekskill, NY at 11am. We are gonna stage there so we can get everyone together before we head up to Anthony Wayne Recreation Area. Its an 8 mile, 15 minute drive. We'll BS in the parking lot for a bit then everyone can do whatever they want. Bear Mountain State Park is 5 min away from Anthony Wayne and it has a carousel, a zoo and some museums.
