UPDATE FROM TOYOTA: "Our techs suck and can't figure out what's wrong with your truck. Were bringing another tech in tomorrow to look at it and pin point the prblem and it's cause".

Alright I thought I was just being a dick and impatient but yea that's what I'm thinking. These fucktards do this for 60+ hrs a week and they can't figure out WTF is wrong in a 14 hr workday. Twats. I took it to Toyota of Orange. I wanted to take it their bc I had diff issues b4, at about 3k miles, and they serviced it. I'm hoping they put some blame on their reluctance to replace my gears last time.

i bet they have not looked at it and are just telling you that they can't find what is wrong. go down there and tell them you forgot something in your truck and see where it is.

No you don't just remove a cover. You first remove the brakes, pull the axles, then remove the third. That's if it's in the rear. If it's the tranny (no I'm not talking about any members of this board - transmission for any of you so inclined but I think that thread was destroyed last night!) ... back to the tranny, if it's there they would have to pull that if it was mechanical (and not electronic or vacuum issue).

I would have looked at it last night but the idea of looking up Manny's skirt after the ED issues would just be silly! :p

It doesn't matter where it is. They couldve put it on the rack then taken it off and parked it. Nothin I can do but wait. And since warranty claims are on the line here, Id prefer not to step on anyones toes.

It was the "differetial carrier assembly" is that the carrier bearing? Sounds like it but the receipt says $1,700 for parts and labor which doesn't sound right for a carrier bearing. It's fixed tho. Warranty qualified. Rep gave me a hard time after finding multiple big dents on the skid and underccarriage. They also found dried mud in the rear drums. He knows what I do with it and just let the abuse go I guess. He told me to watch my "extracurricular activities". Lol.
