I'm running laundry, but other than that not much on the docket. I bought some tools from HF and changed the oil in the truck yesterday. Getting pretty close to your kid popping out, no?

I'll take a pic of where I'm rubbing and I'm sure y'all can steer me in the right direction. I've also set aside today for cleaning the interior.

I'm also having trouble understanding which set of coils I should be going for.

What OME coil you go with all depends on how much lift you have and if you're running armor or not. The rated lift is based on the double cab, so you'll get a little more since you have an access cab. Most people go with Headstrong because they have great prices and service. Send a message to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road, and she'll be able to help you figure out what you need.

I've talked to her a little bit but the only problem I'm having is deciding between 881 or 882 because I would hate to go with the lighter ones and end up not getting any extra lift. I just wish there weren't so many uncertainties. :annoyed:

If you go with the lighter spring and don't get the lift you want, you can preload them by raising the coil seat on the 5100.

Okay that sounds a lot better. So the 881s would work

The difference between the 881 and 882 is only 3/4". Did you ever take hub center to fender measurements before you installed the lift you have now? You could figure out how much you need to come up in the front from that.

The pre-contractions hit hard last night. Just trying to get things done in overdrive.

Have fun. Never had to experience that for some reason. We just went straight to cutting.

Rubs all around the pinch weld when backing up or turning sharply. Don't mind the cow :poking:

I just had a genius idea!! I've been reading how people with OME 882 coils and stock bumpers experience a harsh ride. Well... What if you mount a 100 or so lb dumbbell behind the stock bumper to make the ride smoother. Boom!! Problem solved.
