supposed to say size* not side. If you want them to mount under a bed cover... the brackets will need to be a bit longer, and they will need to be mounted horizontally along the front of the bed. If you want to mount them vertically... the brackets need to be an inch wider, and they can be mounted anywhere there isnt a wheel well.

I now have a rotopax tank and mount, thanks to @hoarder23 , so i will have something up soon for rotopax mounts.

Are these able to be flipped? I have a sleeping platform in the bed the height of the wheel wells and am looking for a suitable mount for a shovel, axe, and a hi-lift down the line.

I have never personally tried to mount them upside down... i have had a request to mount the short side to a hi-lift jack so that the long end will extend out instead of down.

eventually yes, i just need to figure out how to bend the brackets to make them strong enough. I know that the one i have made of steel cracked, so i will need to figure something out. I could have them welded, but they are aluminum, so that will cost more....

Bro, if i had one i would be selling the crap out of it..... now with that said, my guy doesnt have a die long enough for his bender to make the cross bars. I know, i have told him to go buy one, but they are apparently expensive so its not that easy.

I will be working on dialing the measurements today. And then i need to draw them up and send them to my guy.

Question though... will people want them on the sides or across the front more? Are they more likely to mount the tank horizontally or vertically? The front does not have a lip that sticks out like the sides, also there is a wheel-well that will mess with the mounts, so depending on how you mount it there is a potential to have 3 different mount heights.

I personally have my hi-lift on the front rail so would mount it over the cubby on the side.
