What does sr5 mean?

My 2017 sr5 is a automatic, so yes it is now available in both manual and auto.

 

I have an 05 w5 speed automatic and automatic overdrive SR5 and towing package. 250,000+ miles and still a sweet truck.

SR5 in 2005 did not have a backup camera. Maybe later model years?

 

Toyota.com website has a VIN ID where you can bring up the original window sticker. It shows all the optional as well as original equipment the vehicle came with.

I'm looking at a 2013 SR5...NOT a TRD of any kind

it has:
V6
4x4
Auto
16's
scoopless hood (TRD Sport feature)

My questions are mostly in regards to drive train:
i assume that it will have the same basic suspension and drive train as the TRD Sport - without the locking Diff of the OFF ROAD. Is this true?

 

Just for the record, every Tacoma that's not a sport has no scoop. Only the sport comes with the scoop

My Tundra is an SR5

 

My Tacoma SR5 Prerunner only has a 4 speed automatic transmission.

 

Yeah there's definitely some inconsistencies through the model years. My manager has the same truck, with the same transmission as yours.

 

I have a 2003 SR5. It is a 5 speed manual, manual door locks and windows, cloth seats, extra cab, 4 cylinders-I just came on here to see what SR5 stood for!!
