That sounds great! is this something she will have to do from now on or is this issue a one time thing. I did a little google checking and could not figure out how something like this happens and could not figure out if it was a treat and forget thing.

We don't really have the cold weather issues here that others have with the cold in the northern tier and higher altitudes. Ours is the other extreme. 2 or 3 years is about max for batteries here because the heat kills them off. For solar, we do have an issue during winter of just not having as much daylight so charge times are reduced. Honestly, we only have about 3 weeks of cold here and only a few days when temps are at or below freezing.

Yea just have to worry about heat here. I have a small inverter in cab with high temp warning. Heat also kills the tool batteries.

I haven't had my dewalts long enough to go through a tool battery yet, but I do keep them in the cab or the tool box. I need to build or buy something for the backseat of the worktruck just for sensitive items. Ultimately something that houses batteries and chargers so I can move all that clutter from between the front of the seat to the dash around the transfer case stick and cup holders. That way I can run the cables under the seats and just have the cord ends near the accessory sockets.

Mine stay in back of box truck. It doesn't get as hot in there as the cab. Took me awhile to remember to replace fuse of inverter. That's why I like the new Milwaukee m12 USB charger. Everything else I still need inverter or plug in if I can at next job.

I get referred to by that on many occasions. Especially if they know they may not like what might come out of my mouth...let the sleeping bear lay

I'll sometimes drive around with my generator running with chargers plugged in. I sometimes get strange looks or people at stop lights waving and pointing at the generator.
