Hey do you have a close up of your headrests? I really like that design, just beige for the TRD since mine is quicksand..

If you were up in the Irvine area I would say just swap me trucks for a couple hours and I'll put them on for you for a bottle of Patron. Just yelp out a auto upholstery place with good reviews and give them a call.

Haha, I actually could swing by there but I decided to man up and install them myself. And I did it! Kinda. Literally just need to shove the back seatbelt plastic insert into the leather and then I'm finished. Couldn't finish it this night, fingers hurt too damn much.

    Gonna post some pics later.

Thanks for the offer though!

Been following this thread....great info! Thanks!!
Just got a call from Clazzio about an order I wanted to make.
They had in stock leather, Black on black with Red stitching.
I'm picking up a new 2017 TRD OR Dbl cab Quicksand next Thursday up in Columbus Ohio to replace my hurricane Harvey, Texas totaled TRD MGM.
I'm getting the embroidery, beige TRD with red logo.
    Can't wait!

I have been following this thread for about a month and a half, finally worked some overtime to convince the wife to let me pull the trigger on some covers. She still isn't too thrilled, but I think she will like them after they are installed.

Just ordered some triple black leather covers with the TRD Sport logo in beige with the gray/white mountains. Can't wait to have these installed!

So what is the Clazzio Pro Kit for the Tacoma? I do not see this option posted on their website.

I am pretty sure it has to do with the stitching, I know I read it somewhere in this thread

Exactly. It's been a while since I installed my seat covers. As I recall, I think you need to take the bottom portion of the original cloth seat back and fold it back up inside of itself - up along the backside of the cloth seat back. Then the Clazzio seat back cover can go over, and attach. My mind is fuzzy ........................

It's probably been posted before, but I have yet to be on the forum a good while due to working extra hours at the fire dept and side jobs from Hurricane Harvey...

I am interested in ordering a set for my 17'Taco. (Crew Cab)

If its a custom order of all black leather with red stitching (trd pro style)... no headrest design.

How long would something like that take to be shipped to Houston Tx?

When you spill anything on them does it go through the covers?

They have a thin foam lining on the backside. I do not think much liquid, if any, would get through to the cloth seats below, unless you spilled a full cup of coffee or similar.

Step 1 in the instruction book explains this but I wrote it out to make it easier:

    DRIVER SIDE/PASSENGER SIDE SEATBACK INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 in the instructions explains this. But here is a more detailed break down.

    1. Un hook the FACTORY flap, on the original seat that goes from the seat back, under the back bottom of the seat, and under the seat bottom. Most vehicles, there is a simple plastic snap. You just push it off the metal wire and the straps will be free and clear.

    LnKJAG6GpMM3PiHTbZEMkDCZnzrXcypfNAj0ZtDD_2344c7143a173b8728bc4d737529ccf3a3b32693.jpg

    2. Fold the factory flap back, up towards the seat back.

    430Op6ytmRPSLXTOtk5xoEPqFnkvjlCE0jiV2jKb_2f1b1d726a55cd4b540113f2c9b273fd0dd446bd.jpg

    3. Hold the flap in place against the seat back/pocket as you pull the NEW clazzio cover down over the top of the seat, and over the flap you're holding in place. Once the cover goes over, it will keep it there, on the seat back. (Seat covers are designed to keep your original factory material intact. You could cut off the bottom of the flap, and not have it behind the cover, but that is your choice. Keeping the flap, behind the cover keeps your original seats in tact, and this is how we install.)

    mIh2PAzVFWLObbkgJEIj3xxtgKjIX51NKNtNG1lH_80e9e7b40288be5b652d8f9452b771935a886de8.jpg

    4. Push the BOTTOM front edge of the seat cover from the FRONT side of the seat, through the bottom crack. Sit in the back of your vehicle, and pull that flap through towards yourself. Then you can pull it UP and connect it to the velcro that is located INSIDE the seat cover, at the TOP of where the new FLAP is sewn on. (It REALLY helps to have someone lean over the seat back, and push DOWN on the cover, while someone pulls UP on the flap, making that connection SUPER tight. The PVC has really good stretch when you have 2 people on it, and you’ll be amazed at how tight you can get it!

At this point, DO NOT install the NEW FLAP on the seat back. We like to install the SEAT BOTTOM NEXT because you need that part DONE before you finish installing the seat back flap. 2cNafP_pgTYrNUX2WjM1WgU4NQZoPfCmBsVT8bN7_7ba92c3e85990f0bed2927727a53a8d03a8e1535.jpg

    5. Install the seat bottom. If you have a STRING, the INSIDE part by the console the string will just go down by the seat belt connector and to the back. The DRIVER SIDE, you’ll push the string BETWEEN the seat cushion, and the plastic on the edge of your seat bottom. (SOMETIMES, depending on how tight it is, you can TAPE the end of your shoe string to the tip of a screwdriver and poke it down the hole, then you can grab it easier on the back side to tie it off. Go to the back of the seat to tie off the string. ON ONE side, make a simple loop in the string. The other side of the sting, pull through the loop, and PULL to make the cover as tight as possible. Then TIE off the string. Tuck any excess string up under the seat bottom in the wire frame. YOU DON’T want to cut it off, so in the future you can always go back and retighten the covers. You’ll also install the straps from FRONT TO BACK if your cover has them.

(A TIP HERE!!! Make SURE the strings don’t come around right in the SLIDE TRACK for the seat. The metal is sharp and you can cut the string by pulling right across the track. We like to make sure the strings go ABOVE the track, ON the TOP of the seat slide, so as the seat moves front and back, the strings are tied to that part.)

    WCpCP04wIJVa7wX6lp4o2yjTMz3oe1qqInSsVvo9_7e18827902193994c581e98522035b389a5b3e4f.jpg

    6. Now that the BOTTOM is done, then hook the NEW clazzio flap on the seat back to the underframe, the same way the original flap was, using the S HOOKS, to hook to the new bungees. Do NOT do them tight.. they are designed to be loose.. so that when your seat folds front and back, the flap can move.
