Again right in the feels :( lol
In all fairness I will admit they likely scratched cause they are lower than rockers. But still nice added protection.

And can always lift off them.

You, Turd gen owners get offended so easily!

Once you lift the truck, scratching them won't be an issue, got to hurry up and get over with the lift before Ardberg!

Well, on the long weekend back in September it was 0 or 32 American :) . So I would suggest you to get a warm sleeping bag.
    I have this one:

thats what sucks, i worked on a rescue team in NC. did plenty of wilderness camping and such in the Appalachian so i have plenty of high-quality gear. buuuuuuuuuuuut its all at home. so im gonna just drop some money on a nice new sleeping bag and a reasonable tent and just take the loss haha

I'm so offended about your "turd gen" comment. I'm just gonna cry on all the scratches on my truck and hope for the best.

I think we should throw him in the lake and set his truck on fire.

Or is that too extreme. Maybe just some laxative in his drink?

You could be like me and buy the cheapest tent money can buy and then put all the money you didnt spend on a tent into a kickass sleeping bag. I think the tent I bought was $20 new at canadian tire and it still holds up beautifully

Tent means nothing. Good sleeping pad and bag matter more.

Ive done trips in the winter where we've hiked 10km into the woods and slept under tarps in the open in -20 weather. No tent or anything and we were toasty and comfortable cause of the bags. Thats where the moneys at

Haha, no need. He does enough damage to his truck/ himself. (Water and fire specifically) Oh and trees.

So for this Ardbeg trip... Where do we plan on camping?

Does someone have a chainsaw they can bring for firewood?

Make sure everyone has some blaze orange, because its grouse season. Just to be on the safe side.

I'll load my truck bed with recycled pallets, should last us one night easily.
In terms of camping, I hope we can get the spots near the beach this time, worst case same old place...

I will also have some wood with me as well, some real firewood as well as pallets. I just need to take the nails out of the pallets and we are good
