Too many but also not enough mods
7 showed up so I think that was a successful 1st meet. Hopefully we do it again next month. Truck is going in this week to get finished up so it will look a little better next time. Hopefully my shop can recess the lightbar, maybe they didn't read the directions properly and didnt remove the crossbar or just want to take the lazy route. I should be free to go to another meetup except for Saturday, Oct 21. Going to my 1st rangers game that I've been waiting 4 years to go to.

Meet up was good! Thanks for organizing it!

We had to entertain our evil twins, so couldn't hang out in the parking lot too long.... How was the Octoberfest? We didn't stay too long (I promised a carousel an possible ride to the tower, had to deliver on it), maybe my fault for not looking around too much, but I didn't see much kid friendly things at the event. Is there a playground or something like that in this park? Kinda looking forward to possible next meet up, and want to have some options for the kids.

Good luck on your mods! It seems like a Tacoma ( almost by default) is an endless money pit in regards to mods...

We hit the carousel and the tower too. (parked behind you there). Took the picnic area paths that @Subway4X4 mentioned because, well why not. Other things there are the zoo. I don't recall a playground, but there may be one. I didn't look because the carousel worked out as all I needed to bribe mine after a picnic, but they're older than yours.

Yeah man, thanks for organizing. Hopefully I can make another meet. Sounds like it's time you got a garage and some.tools. Or I'm sure someone can organize a mod day at some point. Maybe when I get around to installing my 886's.

We made our little punks climb to the top of the tower, then wore them out a bit while walking /jumping around the top of the mountain... I considered checking out the picnic area, but the decision was made to hit a carousel. After few rounds, we hit the road, they needed a nap.
There is (at least was) a playground by the lake, but we didn't maake it there, or tbe Zoo.
I was wondering if there was a playground or some or some other kids friendly area at Anthony Wayne. (My fault for not checking further into the park, maybe we would stay longer at Octoberfest )
Anyways, what did you (guys) think about those picnic areas?

I didn't exactly see 'picnic areas' per se' but little openings here and there. Nice little spots to hang and eat though. I think we went through 2 different areas, one on the way up, and one on the scenic way out, which we used to double back. You should have seen the looks on the hikers' faces as we drove through there.... certainly some WTF stink-eye happening.

Apologies for not reaching out beforehand (stuff got crazy), some knowledge could have helpful... We did alright though.

Do you know about any of that? ^ I mean playgrounds?

Lmfao! I almost drove onto the trail on the way back. Lol. Too many people walking, so decided against it.
