Just to confirm. We're sticking to all the main trails in Ardbeg right? Not the loop or harder trails.

    I did not know this:

You can claim goods worth up to CAN$800 without paying any duty and taxes

I'll probably head up Friday afternoon maybe around 2 or 3. I finish work at noon. Maybe I'll be on a 4 9s job and have Friday off in which I can go early.

Yes if you're out for 48 hours.
    If I remember right it's $200 for more than 24 hours, 48+ $800. Under 24h $0.

Hence why I'm shipping my bed rack to my uncle's and paying a visit lol

It really depends on the agent. I came across with my sliders and skids. No issues go ahead. With a battery the one time and bumpers the next not so lucky. Still way better than getting stuff shipped across the pound.

Also, you will not have to pay duties if it is made in north America. I only ever payed sales tax.

Kinek.com. Use them all the time. From what I've learned seeing my friend get fined and now flagged. Just tell them the truth.

When I got my treds and gas tank skid I didn't even get checked. Just told them both. Honestly could've just said the skid but had they checked I'd be fucked. It's a pretty substantial fine if you lie plus flags you and guarantees a pain in the ass crossing every time then. Find it's better to just be truthful. I've had them not care and let me go a few times now.

thanks i will look into it  I actually just found this site here:
    http://myusaddress.ca/

Ogdensburg, NY would be the closest border to me and my parents live in Prescott, so if I didn't feel like dealing with the border I could get it sent to the Prescott location for 29$+tax/duties. but I would probably just cross the border and hope buddy is nice and just lets me through haha

yeah I wouldn't even bother lying haha

First few times they don't let you. I know two of the guards now at Niagara crossing lol. They let me go if it's under $200.
I've looked into the others only issue I find with my us address and the others is usually a monthly fee kind of thing vs kinek being pay per use.

fair enough, so this one is free but when you pick it up you pay 6$ under 150lbs and 50$ over 150lbs, the three skids total just over 150. but even still, if I could score some free shipping to the US address I don't mind paying the 50 bucks.

Damn, this thread is getting some traffic. I remember the days when we were getting maybe 2-3 messages a week lol.

Anyways, I will be heading down there around 11am-noon, so I should be there around 3 - 3.30pm.
Basically if it is your first time just head to Ardberg on the google maps, and then pass the general shop and continue going, you will see this sign, so keep going and eventually you will hit the beach. Honk 3 times and I will meet you there.

& some nature pictures, so you get the idea.
