@BamaToy1997 and I have torn into a couple Taco's front and rear ends re-gearing and installing air lockers so far. Fun stuff!

We did it all in Bills fully equipped shop with a truck lift. He moved to Florida. I don't have the tools.

Did you pay about 1400 for locker installed and all?

I paid just under $1,400 for locker, 2 day shipping, and installation. Worth that and more seeing as how I was broken down 24 hours from home, they let us use their shop to work on Dave and Johns trucks, and let me use a section of their office space to store my stuff. My mechanic in Arab wouldn't have cost that much to do it, but it also wouldn't have been done in 4 hours total of work on the truck.

You're trying to justify the price, but that is the right around cost of 4wp.. So it's about 500 per end at the shop in Moab.

I would've opted for new carrier bearings depending on mileage on truck, that's about another 100.

I'm not trying to justify the price, the price is justified in itself and more than worth it.

    Okie dokie.

For everyone, the markup on ARB stuff is extreme. I didn't realize this till I started messaging sellers.

Find one that will work with you and you can get a crazy good deal on this stuff.

To think I may one day far far in future do this again if I run bigger than 33's.

I will say most aggravating part is the backlash measurement on the clamshell.

I wanted hood vents on the camaro. They were more aesthetically designed though.

@BarberRider needs these to alleviate his overheating issue.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
it started getting hot at aop after i cleaned it. but it was hot outside and we were sitting uphill. didnt do it at all at atr or chocco

Agreed, the backlash is a pain. If you don't get it just right, you'll pay in the future.

I'll likely take mine to ecgs when I'm ready to do it.

Plan a trip to NC wheeling and have them take care of you.

They also can have the third members built and ready to go and when you get there just pull yours install theirs.

    Less downtime.
