currently designing platform storage with multiple drawers and flip outs

 

stopped by the Triple C Chop Shop yesterday #3ccs to get some stopping power in the red sled yesterday! Thanks to the Powerstop Extreme Heavy towing/off road Carbon Ceramic kit! as always some set back but nothing that couldnt be addressed. an my god this thing actually stops like its supposed to. i have light car stopping power. totally a new experience! thanks @Texoma for letting me use the chop shop and lending a hand! Project "Scarlett" phase 2 has begun!

 

I need to break out the sewing machine and remember how to use it. Haven't sewn anything since the last time I put stripes and name tapes on the last uniforms I bought in the Air Force. I need to make some slip-covers for a repurposed foam mattress topper turned cot cushions.

While I'm at it...I want to make some fancy seat backs that can pop on and off that are "thematically matched" to the truck. Also need to make a steering wheel cover to keep the sun off the wheel when she's sitting in the work parking lot. Currently using a towel. The windshield visor works great until the sun comes in the side. Don't want the UV rays to discolor my steering wheel cover - my son got that for me as a birthday present.

 

That one piston was being stubborn. Now we need to get your rear brakes replaced and figure out bracket height for your proportioning valve and you'll stop on a fucking dime.

 

Oh, and that e brake cable too. Looser than a Las Vegas hooker.

Nah, the top is good. There's going to be another platform on the other side that will rest on the center support. Inside there's casters that the drawer rests on. I made the actual drawers too narrow so that they don't rest on the casters. Fortunately I have plenty of scrap laying around. Already have the new pieces cut out. Just need to sand, seal and reassemble.
