At one hundred it was nails. After that I couldn't hit a dinner plate. Thats why the reloading. Turns out I was using too heavy a bullet. I had read that for a 1 in 12 twist the max bullet weight I could use was 163. I opted for some nice factory 150 to 155. After a day at the range, frustrated as hell, I spoke to my gun competition guy and he laid it out for me. 100 to 125 max bullet weight. Heading back out to the range this coming Sunday for some 100, 200, 400, and, if it does what I think it will, maybe out to 800 yards.

My neighbor has a friend whose family owns an almond orchard south of Santa Nella. You can set up a target at 1000 yards or more. No need for that distance with the guns I own.

As was mentioned, Hagins in Martinez, but they are pricy. I go to Lecher Brothers in San Pablo. Straight shooter. Gotta believe he's cheaper than Hagins, but theses days, they're all a little on the high side. I think they all use the same estimating manual. But I've been going to this guy for 15 years. He's fair.

You should have tpms valves.. which means if you can wiggle them they’re loose. Tighten up the nut and it’ll cinch it down. Tire shop could have forgotten to torque that one down when they reinstalled it.

Don't we have a member that works for contra Costa county in the building dept? If so, I need to ask a few off the record questions.

    how broken are we talking?
from the pics it looks like a pretty sizable crack but I can't really tell how bad it is
so broken you don't want to offload it on a fellow TWer ?

The splits are both about 4" long now, right beside the corner welds. No reason to think they'll get any shorter with continued use. Did I mention that the lid is also cracking at both ends of the hinge?
I generally sell or give away usable goods. Not sure that this meets that test.

I think you have to be a member to use their long distance ranges.
