Well since I hardly got over 10K miles out of the ebc yellow stuff pads so I wasn't doing that again. I was in a pinch so I ended up getting O'reillys "towing" pads. We'll see how they do. I did like the performance of the ebc pads but not at the expense of changing them every 3 months.

These aren't towing pads. These are Wagner OEX pads made by federal mogul. Not an O'Reilly's brand by any means. These are top of the line pads. Google them. If you did want towing pads I'd have went with the Wagner Severe Duty.

There's something about this rig I really like. Unfortunately, the only pic I've found of it is in pinterest:

That's why I put it in quotes, as that's what o'reillys calls them. I wasn't on the hunt for an actual pad for towing, just something that would fade less than oem and last longer than the ebc's.

with all the reports from everyone on the EBC I am now wondering if I should just stay OEM since mine are around 60,000 going on 65,000 I am close to needing new ones though.

I decided that all you fawkers going through brake pads so fast might need a write up on how to do it.

1st, take some shit off, clean it up, squeeze some things.

2nd, lube some of that shit you cleaned and put it back together.

I hope you don't have any questions as I just barely made it through.

I wouldn't go ebc, but I had issues with fade on the oems? You don't have those issues?

Well good to know someone is liking them.

    Saved for reference.
I bought some vato zone pads yesterday but I couldnt bring myself to install them since my stockers still have 1/8" left on them and are worn perfectly evenly.
