I mean, in the last decade....Alabama has.............

Won the natty 40% of the time.
Been in the Championship game, 50% of the time.
Been in the playoffs 100% of the time....3 for 3.

Now, considering the SEC was the toughest conference for 7, maybe 8 of those years....and more so going back farther than 2007, that is pretty impressive. Only until recently did the B10 and ACC really start pushing with more than one team able to win the natty. Oddly enough, that seems to be the fate of the SEC right now. I dont see that changing until Saban retires, or K. Smart gets a few more of his players in and really makes shit interesting in the SEC. LSU will need to get moving on talent, quickly. Florida will continue to haphazardly win and lose games they shouldnt until MacElwain gets a backbone. Tennessee, well....they dont need to win anything as they are already life champions. Auburn is fighting, but they are just outmatched with Saban. Miss State should be relevant now that Ole Miss is swirling around the toilet of sanctions. aTm needs a new high powered coach.

Meanwhile, the B10 and ACC are consistently improving the head coaches or talent they recruit. I foresee the B10 basically consuming itself in the future and the ACC may come out the best, clearly.

So, for Alabama to be ranked number one, with the best recruiting classes for a decade, and best performance in the post-season...I can't really argue against it, or for it.

The defense has played well, but the quarterback play is God awful and they committed 5 TO against Mercer.

Yes, the offense blew up against Missouri, but so did Perdue.

Will they win he rest of the SECW games (not counting Bama)? Probably.

Win out? Not so fast my friend. Still got the deep south’s oldest rivalry to be played, and if we can keep playing like we did against Miss St, I see us winning that game. Especially if this defense stays at this level. The savior of Awburn football, Stidham, might wish he had stayed at Baylor

Yes it is upsetting he isnt the front runner for the Heisman but to say it is god awful show your lack of knowledge when it comes to football....

Yes there was 5 TO but we had over 500 yards of total offense. TO's are an easy fix.

Auburn has already played the best D they will face all season and the offense has continued to get better.

Clemson and Auburn have a better defense then Alabama. Every one of Clemson's D-linemen will be first round picks. Most logical Alabama fans will know that this is the worst defense since 2008.

I would take clemson’s Defense over Bamas...so far.

But, Clemson held the all world QB to 79 yards passing, so maybe bama gives up 85?

Please provide your facts that AU's defense is better than Bama's. I will for sure wait for that.

Edit, work pc wouldn't load shit for links for me

No, its not necessarily like that....

I'm just an Alabama fan that knows, Auburn gonna Auburn.

I mean, the fact that you are happy about a loss to Clemson, speaks plenty to me. Justification is a bitch for mediocre programs.

Please inform me where I said I was "happy" about a Clemson loss?

I stated that we already played the best defense we will all season, which is a fact proven in the above post. Saying that we played the best defense is no justification? It is facts? They beat us because their Defense is better than our Offense, thats how you win football games you know?

We will keep an eye on this throughout the season. Gonna be musical chairs with those teams by the end of the season.

I was just fixin to point out that the list has southern miss higher than us... I assume that it takes only numbers into consideration, and we have played 1 top ten team and a team that beat a top 25 (and we shut them out) you would be hard pressed to find any sane person out there that says southern miss has a better defense than bama just sayin
