Hot Springs I am interested in as well... Would like to go do that and Snow wheeling sounds fun.

At least someone is looking out for you @Zac of all trades I was just going to sell you the rear axle and let you figure that crap on your own when we try and install it in your truck...

There may be some other stuff that you would need, but won't know until I start taking stuff of my stock axle to put onto the new one. But I have part numbers and all that as well.

    TW EXPRESS REQUEST

Anyone going up towards Layton, OK anytime soon? Maybe Wichita Falls or something? May need something delivered from DFW to that area.

I would suggest that you and @Zac of all trades just trade rear axles and you pull all the parts you need off his... but that would mean yall need to set a day aside to work on them together.

Their bromance is strong enough to spend a day bromancing each other over some truck work.

That would possible work then.... would be a lot easier overall. Don't know why I did not think about that. As long as he wants my rear axle, that would make things a lot easier and would be a easy swap for him. If we could not do it all at the same time, then we could swap rear ends and I would just run no locker on the rear and then do my swap later. But I bet we could plan to get it all done at once... I have a feeling there will be enough people that would want to help install my rear axle that we could get it taken care of. Or at least stand around and drink beer and supervise.

Ha... don't know how much work we would do between holding each other and bromancing.

I would not mind helping and also can provide insite since having done one. If the break lines did not give us fits it would not have taken @hoarder23 and I as long as it did.

Word, more than likely will be doing it somewhere in DFW anyways. Will have to make sure I have all the parts needed and everything and bring them to DFW for a Saturday or something. Just have to find a location.... preferably with a lift.

My brake lines will be getting swapped out anyways to some extended ones.

Our problems was my axle... the soft lines that attached to the axle the nuts did not want to come off and they were wanting to round out even with a breakline wench, so we ended up removing them from the drums.

May need to move the swap day to dallas area to get all the extra hands...

I actually have a room for 2 trucks in my driveway and plenty of parking in the out front... Should probably pick up a couple jack stands for safe measure...

Nope, neither one of us will have an "open" diff once the swap is done!

This will likely go down later this year, when the weather cools down a bit. And we have all our parts together...
