Exhaust mod

so... I tried a simple exhaust mod in the 2016 TRD sport its temporary until I decide if I like it or not. Just thought I'd get some thoughts. I already know there will be some dislikes but I literally have nothing but 30 minutes invested in this


Okay so first off in this picture I already had the bolts out of the joint behind the muffler that's held together by 2 14mm bolts. I found 2 nuts that slid right over the screws. You have to take a screw driver to spread the joint apart after the bolts are apart far enough to slide the nuts between the joint.

Then just simply slide your bolt through the joint/nut and tighten down.


That's it and now for the test drive

Ive had my fair share of exhaust leaks, its alright for about a week, then it gets annoying. Might as well straight pipe it

 

I wish there was a Locked Thread mod

 

Genuine Toyota Parts PT910-89061 TRD Cat-Back Exhaust brags a 5 to 8 HP increase. I bet this is at least that.. and its free.

Add a sticker for a double dose of H-Power.
