I think a 2 or 3 night thing works for me based on when the NMBDR run starts. All of what you have mentioned sound great too. Ive got a number of items like tow strap, d rings, tire deflators, on board air, replacement valve stems, tire repair kit and will ask @ChadsPride for his hi-lift if I havent bought one by then. I dont think we need to worry about a winch as long as we have at least 2 vehicles. I wouldnt think the camp sites would be able to hold more than 3 or 5 cars. IIRC, its 3 vehicles for most sites and there could be 1 or 2 with a 5 max limit.

Flying drones in National Parks is highly illegal. Many reports of NPS scouring Youtube and ticketing people ($1000+ fines) months later.

I will most likely get some shots in Terlingua and surrounding areas.

The terrain can change so much due to the weather. I'm not sure if it's been raining down there lately, but I doubt it. The 4 different camp sites I camped at in BBNP were 2 cars but we talked the Park Rangers into letting us cram 4 while keeping the wheels where they should be. If you can "prove" to them you are the respectful, non-partying type, you can usually be allowed to have more than 2 per site. Good luck!
