And UGA, but I guess our D isn't even worth mentioning. Just keep thinking that way Auburn.

Eason “could come back” this weekend. If that’s the case, I see Kirby pkaying him a few series to ease him to in. I don’t know how you could bench Fromm currently, though.

Nope, and as you said this I just watched David Pollack on College Football Live talk about how this could be a big distraction for the team if not handled properly. And I agree with what he said.

One takeaway from our game against MSU. When we had the "fumble" by Swift, I felt the possible momentum shift that we've all known and felt as fans. The thing that impressed me was how the D stayed focused and got the stop. This is one way where I feel that Kirby is indeed changing the culture in UGA football. I could've easily seen that game playing out a whole lot different under Richt. The team losing composure, allowing them to drive and score after that and suddenly the entire game changes and it's a ball game.

I felt it at that point and I guess it was normal to feel that way it maybe it was just our history that led me to feel it, either way it didn't matter because the team kept their composure and kept doing their thing. I felt like that was the biggest moment in that game. Could've been a huge turn around.

It's tough for it to feel like football season when you have 3 weeks off and I'm never here through the offseason.

The bandwagon is a lot lighter this week though.

So who thinks what happened today in NCAA basketball with the FBI will have far reaching implications involving other sports including football?

For those of you who missed it, the FBI arrested 10 people today and are charging them with various fraud and corruption charges. The arrested are a mix of assistant coaches, financial planners, and Adidas execs. The scheme has been that Adidas was paying these coaches to steer kids towards schools repped by Adidas or towards various agents and Adidas endorsements after college

Allegations of payments to families for commitments to schools. Very in depth investigation involving wire taps, bugged rooms, undercover agents sitting in on meetings etc etc

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I've been reading about it all day. FBI said today "we know who the rest of you are. Probably should just come forward now to save the embarrassment of arrest."

When the dust settles...I'd imagine it's gonna be ugly

Claims that NCAA set this in motion to try and stop the issues and are going after major apparel companies and agents including others besides Adidas

I'd imagine once it's all done, the NCAA is basically going to get handed everything and they don't even have to do full investigations as the work has already been done for them

I guess it wouldn't make most local sites unless a local school was involved

I live in Columbia and a former South Carolina assistant was arrested...soo kind of big news here

I kinda hope EA Sports is at the helm here, attempting to be able to make NCAA Football games again....

    That's just my selfish hopes....

I want someone to fuck the NCAA over and give up a scholarship and rep the shit out of a company. Technically the NCAA couldnt do anything about it if they aren’t on a scholarship, could they?

Say Adidas were to pay the kid enough to cover his tuition and whatnot. If they aren’t under a scholarship, is it still a NCAA violation?
