So as much as I'd love to blame Tacomaworld, I've been itching for this for a long time. Way before my Tacoma.

    ARB Snorkel install!!!
(It's really not fun, fucking Australians and their little hands)

So first I had to drink a beer and say fuck yeah let's drill (big) holes in the truck!

After this picture I learned a lot. My wife has small hands which makes this job doable! It was not fun or easy but it went together.
    IMG_20170925_192026629_HDR.jpg

Thank God it's on and over with!

If you look careful you'll see where I messed up. A little spray paint and it's ok

    Really?

Taking a 4.5" hole saw to a vehicle isn't natural. It's not even something common in any fashion. Shite is scary yo!

I bet if you put a 7 carat diamond between your ass cheeks it would have reduced to dust.

Point of no return. No amount of Bondo could repair that hole if done wrong!

My biggest concern when drilling the body is keeping the edges from rusting afterward. I would fear that in a couple of years, I'd have rust peeking out from under that snorkel. I'm sure a little spray paint would fix the problem.

That's just the start... Then you'll cut the bedsides, then start hacking off all the stock suspension mounts, then drill 13 holes in the roof, then start bolting and welding all kinds of junk on it. Then people will start asking you what kind of truck it used to be

That's what I did, but my phone was taking forever to upload pics. I taped off around each hole and sprayed a few coats of white paint to make sure it wouldn't. I also used an air hose to blow out as much of the metal shavings as possible.
