I had a shop install it since it was easier. Less than $500 out the door.

Yep. I also replaced the stock shocks with the Bilsteins and the cost was included in the total. I don’t have easy access to a shop with the right tools or I would have done it myself. I could have sourced the shocks myself and saved a few bucks, but again this route was easier for me at the time.

 

I have my blocks waiting for install, but that's more than I thought it would be. I've got a buddy who builds race cars, maybe I need to call in a favor.

 

Definitely call in that favor. I would have much more preferred doing the job myself, but I couldn’t make it happen. How high are your blocks? Also, go with the 5100s. Made a world of difference with the ride.

 

They are 1/4 inch, just to level the front. I'm pretty happy with the stock Billies so I'm just gonna keep those for now. But I do hear god things about the 5100's.

 

I was originally thinking of putting blocking in the front, but went with the adjustable 5100s instead since I was already having everything torn apart. I was upsizing my tires and wheels from the stock 245/75/16 to 275/70/17 which would have added to the unsprung weight and very possibly wrecked the stock shocks. Not to mention all that rubbing. That cost right under $600. If you’re going to do it, then do it right.

 

How do those 275s fit?

What lift are you running? Very mild, but I like it. Also, where did you find those centercaps?
