I like the swing outs, but the only thing I worry about is weight distribution. If you don't get your shocks valved right it throws a lot of weight towards the front of the truck on extension and can give a rougher ride. Especially if you have the bed loaded down as well.

^^^yep. people keep asking about weight, if you think your springs and leafs cant handle it --- it probably wont very well.

Not light. Probably 200lbs pretty easily. It's built to take a beating, not be light

Definitely need beefier leafs if we plan on carrying weight. It'll vary too on what brand of shocks we run in the rear, but matching valving to spring rate of the leafs/weight does help greatly. Which leafs did you end up with? I'm in the middle of re-doing my suspension from light weight to heavy.

Nice. I had Deavers, went to what you have, and now I'm looking at Alcan, Deaver heavy, OME.....don't quite know which way to go. My deavers didn't last very long so i'll probably try one of the other 2

I was thinking about going aluminum for the bumpers but i'd still like them to be able to take a good whack if need be.

I can't remember the exact weight, but they are heavy and tough as shit. Don't let the rear bumper fool you either. I think it weighed more than the front.

I have the @Mobtown Offroad skid plates as well. I can't say enough good things about their products. Their customer service was first rate as well.
