Been looking for a low profile setup and I came across these body mount sliders. In theory this seems like a great design. They look great too. I've never been a fan of the pinch weld on the 3rd gen Tacomas...this would be a great way to cover them up and add some extra protection.

Would be great to hear from anyone who has them installed? Thoughts?

How much wheeling do you do? I ran it through the goog, and that is an awful expensive method to hide your pinch weld. If you are just looking to hide the weld then you can get some running board options for a hell of a lot cheaper. im personally not a fan of the look, i think actual sliders look better and are more functional but thats just my opinion...

I guess they are ok if you like the sliders look. Real sliders don't attach to the body.

I like how they show the truck on a jack lifted from the "sliders".

You beat me to it, I just ordered SOS Concepts sliders a few weeks ago and paid way less than that for real, actual sliders. I guess if you're looking for low profile, this may fit that desire, but that seems pricey.

Nothing crazy. Plan a a few trips out to Utah to visit some of my old haunts, but nothing extreme. I'm really just wanting "dumb-ass" protection on the trials. As I mentioned, this is mostly an aesthetic decision. I don't plan on installing on my 2016. These will be slated for my 2018 when it finally arrives later this year. My current 2016 has the oem tube steps which I'm not a fan of at all, I think the truck looks better w/o them. I agree the price is about $200 higher than I would expect, but then, I have a lot of respect for these guys trying to hang their own shingle doing what they love...So long as it translates to a quality product and great service. I be may be willing to be the guinea pig if the price was right, but that's a big "maybe".

    Thanks for the input.

Yeah man for sure. Like I said, it's just my opinion, if you love them then pull the trigger. Don't let people talk you out of it. With that said though, if I were you I would try to investigate other options. 750 is stupid expensive for body mount protection. I wouldn't spend that type of cash for "rock rails." But then again I wouldn't spend the type of money half the users here spend money on lol. Either way, update this thread with pics! I'm sure we are all interested.

Be careful with the jack and forklift videos. Steel is strong when moved slowly but has a tendency to flex and bend under force.

You dont plan on doing any hard wheeling so should be ok but be careful that a substantial hit can push that into the body and cause damage that will be a PITA so fix.

There marketing pitch is all wrong too.

" If your tube sliders come out from the frame and cross the body in a few spots, the slider will flex up and dent the body where the tubes cross it. Either way you will loose at least 3" of ground clearance, you will loose less than 1/4" with our Rockers."

This is incorrect, I did not lose 3" of ground clearance nor will they flex and hit the body, in fact their are videos on youtube showing the frame failing before the slider bends and hits the body.

I'll post pics after I pick it up. I took a tour of their shop on Saturday. He's got a great setup going and all his products look extremely well made.

The inconvenience of sliders without the protection? Nope.
