Planned obsolescence. You can thank gross profit margins and corporate greed for that. I can rebuild my old timey fans and shit but today’s crap is one use throw away shit. It’s hard as f to try and find parts or components to fix anything electronic now. I replaced the power modulator/source box for my Samsung TV last year. It’s starting to go on the fritz again... I still have my old Sony CRT from the eighties in the garage. Works just fine.
