Talking about nice weather, this past weekend it was 28 felt like 35 all weekend. Still in that heat wave today.

 

Been the same down here.

 

The wife and I dont have a RTT yet, but I got something to at least let me pretend.

 

I went to the dealer and they had it in a day or two. Think I spent $20 on the entire project and I did it the night before a run in the winter. Was one of my first mods.

 

I did the pretend rtt once.


Not very dry though

 

I will be sleeping under the tri-fold tonneau cover. 3" self-inflating foam sleeping pad should cushion out all the ridges in the bed, right?...

 

How far north did you go? When I was there on May long weekend I rode my dirt bike up to Littles Back Lake and there were a ton of water holes after the Bolger Lake cut off. I plugged my front tire into one and almost went over the bars lol.

 

My son might come with. He's gonna learn to drive the hard way.

 

I thought I needed it for the ARB kit and bought one. Dealer had it in stock. And I ended up using it for the trans breather

 

I have only done the rear diff ....

 

On the north trail went to the area where it splits into two roads, took the left one and then another 40 minutes into it. The south trail I’ve done till the second bridge where there is a donut drifting area, plenty of water there was on the way too I would say. Had to get out and walk few times because I did it by myself.

 

My wife in a week: "What's this big box that got delivered today?"
Me: "My finger slipped on the buy now button"

 

To be consistent, your breathers should be at the snorkel level, right?

using a 100mm hole saw to cut a hole in my truck was one of the most stressful times in my life

 

It's gotta hurt a little.... Try pulling your plugs and turning the engine over to get 5 liters of water out.

It will make trimming the fenders for larger tires and HC bumper mentally easier down the road.

 

Trans tcase and front diff are all in the engine bay right near the headers so it's already pretty high but I brought it even higher. And brought the electrical ones up too.
