He is, see the new quote above. Simply mentioning it isn't the fact that he's a 1st gen, even the 2nd and turd gen King parts take a long time to be made. Well worth the wait for the quality

I actually did install a lunchbox locker in the rear diff of my old '99 Prerunner back when I was 19...how in the hell I managed that without destroying anything is a mystery to me to this day. I even took it back out and reinstalled the gears back to stock when I sold it. Don't ask me how, lol. I'd be down to help out though

@eon_blue 1st gens are really easy to swap out the coilovers. Like Danny said, 30 minutes per side if you've got your tools laid out.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Next mod day? 6months.

Cool yeah I might try knocking it out on Friday night with my little brother's help if I can get him to come by. Think I just need to pick up a torque wrench and some floor stands and I should be good.

Yep. Do one side at a time. There's three bolts (or nuts) on the top, should be 14mm. Then the bottom bolt is 19mm or 21mm (I can't remember off the top of my head). That bolt on the bottom can be tight, so grab a breaker bar or an impact wrench to make life easier. But that's it, those 4 bolts and you can pull the entire assembly out and then put your new King coilovers in.

Also @dtaco06 @BLKTRUCK I forgot to grab my socket at Big Bear if you guys made the switch

Right on, thanks dude  Sounds easy enough. So it's better to adjust the preload prior to putting them in, but still possible once they're installed yeah? I assume that they come set for stock height, guess I won't know for sure until they're in.

    Thanks Brian :fistbump:

Incorrect. King sets them for their "ideal" height setting. For a 1st gen that'll be right around 2.00" of lift. As for adjusting the preload/ride height you'll want to do that with them installed. If they're off the truck it'll be very difficult to hold the coilover assembly still while you try to turn the adjustment collar. After you install them, drive around the block, hit some bumps, let them settle. From there you'll want to jack the truck up to take the weight off the suspension so they're at full droop. Loosen the lock bolt in the collar and then you can adjust the preload.
