Funny. I drove around those recently as well. They weren't nearly as abandoned.

I finished a run this afternoon and had been stalked by the most perfect FJ I've ever seen in person. It was incredible.

Great looking FJ, but what is up with the camber on the front tires? Looks funky.

Beaumont. Some dudes name. Would have to google it. We actually got turned away after they saw how much we had. They unloaded just the F150 with no trailer that we took. The two other trucks and trailers they turned down. Said they had more than enough.

Jack Brooks? I was there for a day or two, before taking over operations at Orange County.

JB had most of the civilian lifeflight helicopters, and really awesome food being cooked by the firefighters' wives.

Yeah. Where all the cities had their emergency response teams and trucks. The makeshift triage etc. a buddy of mine was apart of team out there. My small town sent some of their trucks out their form the fire department as well. Pretty exciting to see. We got a tour of the bounce house hospital as I liked to call it.

Yes, Jack Brooks airport was where we were. My wife and daughter were helping with the food and I was helping with supplies. I'm sure we saw each other and didn't even know it.

I am a little disappointed that you were turned away with your supplies. We had several people tell us that after the fact. There was a miscommunication in whom was leading the operation for donations. We would have never turned anything away.

I agree. It was a busy AO, but I probably saw you. I was in camo though, you couldn't have seen me.

We (Orange County Airport) didn't turn anyone away that was dropping stuff off, that I know of. At the same time, it was hard to monitor this, social media, etc.
